Scope and ContentTen notebooks from surveyors Edwin A. Sawyer and William Garstin provide field notes about property in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs from 1893 to 1940. Books 132, 134, 148, 150 and 169 all identify Colorado Springs from 1908 to 1940. All books have an index at the beginning of the book except book 132. Books 13, 4, 7, and 8 refer to Manitou Springs, with a separate index provided. Not all of the books that are referenced in the index are available in the collection.
