The John A. Aragón Collection includes file folders containing corresponce, newspaper articles, proposal, manuscripts and ephemera, photos, and slides, video and audiocassettes, trophies and plaques, publications, pamphlets and ephemera.The material in this collection contains much research value in the fields of education and sociology.

The collection is organized into archival boxes and folders. Boxes are numbered 1- 43. Boxes 1-30 contain numbered folders. Boxes 31- 43 contain unnumbered folders, smaller boxes, and loose materials such as notebooks, videos and audiocassettes. Some items including all books have been removed from the collection do to personal matters or placed in library or map cases for proper preservation and access.

Buxton Collection is a collection of research notes and genealogical materials taken while Buxton conducted research on the Lucero de Godoi family in New Mexico along with notes produced while assisting persons in their family ancestry search.
