P. Thomas Cox (b. 1930) received his Ph. D. in economics from Oklahoma State University in 1967. He worked as an economist for the United States Department of Agriculture (1964-1970) and in industry with Armour foods (1971-1974).
The collection (1954-1971) includes correspondence, manuscripts of articles and papers by Cox, data on conferences and meetings, notes, and printed material dealing with the economics of water resource development, with emphasis on Oklahoma.
