Biography of Frank Albert SwensonFrank A. Swenson (1912- ), a geologist, served with the United States Engineer Corps and the United States Geological Survey's Military Geology Branch Engineering and Terrain Intelligence Team from 1942-1946. Scope and ContentCollection contains correspondence (1942-1958, 1973-1976); a diary written while in India (1952); subject files on water supply and irrigation in Italy, Japan, and Wyoming (1933-1941); maps of Italy and Japan; articles written by Swenson; miscellaneous photographs; and reports on various geological and water supply problems in the Pacific Theater during World War II (1945).
