Biography of Roby WentzJohn R. ("Roby") Wentz served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II. Wentz was an official correspondent with the 70th Infantry in France and Germany. Scope and ContentThis collection contains private letters Roby Wentz wrote to his wife and parents during his time with the 70th Infantry in France and Germany during World War II. The letters he wrote after returning to the United States include information that he was prohibited from including while overseas. Photographs are also included.
