In addition to various typed manuscript drafts of Buckner's unpublished biography of Garrett, the collection also contains articles and newspaper clippings about Garrett; letters about Garrett sent and received by Buckner; transcripts of interviews with Garrett and her associates; and the lyrics, music and a 45 rpm record of "O Fair New Mexico.
