The collection is divided into four series including: Administrative Records, Airport Records, Accident Reports, and Civil Aeronautics Board Records.
Wyoming State Aeronautics Commission supports aviation and publicly owned airports in the state. Archived records include administrative records such as general correspondence, minutes, manuals, mster plans, project files, reports and studies, inventories and accident reports.
Acceess to airpport facility and building plans is restricted. Otherwise, there are no known access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
